A three-person World ORT IC team spent nearly two months in Burundi in 2007 to interview beneficiaries, bureaucrats and aid workers. The program is available to more than 50,000 ex-combatants. The World ORT IC team drafted a comprehensive report, detailing the strengths and weaknesses of the program with a view towards helping the Government of Burundi to enhance the reintegration program's benefits.
